Bruce Edward Hendricks, Sr. Born April 17, 1926, Entered Heaven September 8, 2019, age 93. Husband of 59 years to the late Helen Taylor Hendricks. Devoted son of the late Emil and Rose Hendricks. Loving brother to the late Richard Lyle. Beloved father of Buz (Linda) Hendricks, Barbara (John) Gier, and Carl (Darla) Hendricks. Grandfather to Kelly (Evan) Christoe, Lauren (J.D.) Kreps, Nicholas (fiancé Andrea) Gier, and Alexandra  Hendricks. Great grandfather to Ryan and Angelina Christoe and Vivian and Violet Kreps. Born in Mason and life long resident. Veteran of the U.S. Navy where he received training in electronics. This training enabled him to establish his own business, Hendricks TV Sales and Service, which operated for several decades in Mason. Bruce was a talented mechanic and owned and worked on over a hundred cars in his lifetime. He was also a gifted musician and loved the music of the Big Band Era. He would say one of the greatest thrills of his life was to play the Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe organ when it was housed at the Emery Theatre in Cincinnati. Bruce always had a litany of jokes to tell and was a “big kid” at heart. His Christian faith was very important to him throughout his life. He truly was a man of honesty, integrity, humility, compassion, empathy, and forgiveness. He had a strong work ethic and served as an inspiring role model. Most importantly, Bruce was the best dad, papaw, and G-papa in the world!!!
