Aleja A. Torres (Nee Valdez)

TORRES, Aleja A. (nee Valdez), age 76, of Lodi, NJ, died on November 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Jicome, Esperanza, Dominican Republic, Aleja lived in Puerto Rico settling in Lodi many years ago. She was a homemaker, and a beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Aleja is predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Richard Ramirez-Roman in 2018 and her brother, Juanito. She is survived by three devoted children, Ana Torres and husband Jorge, Richard Ramirez and wife Gisela, and Alexander Ramirez and wife Yazmin, seven cherished grandchildren, Daphne, Chloe, Jake, Jacob, Ryan, Christian, and Nicole, and two adored great-grandchildren, Leilani and Sage. She is also survived by her siblings, Grecia, Rosa Mercedes, Salomon, Celeste, Adalgisa, Papo, Pura, Josefina, Angela, Sasan, Rosa, Leandro, Ediberto, Juan Dario, Miguel and Leydi. Visiting Saturday 1 to 5 pm with her burial to be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio.
