Mainville

Alvin Wayne Reeves, of Maineville, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by the love of his family.

A devoted father, Alvin cherished his daughter Dawn (Randy) Richards and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. Known affectionately as “Pap,” he brought joy to Taryn Richards and Jacob (Lydia Vach) Richards, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. He was also a caring brother to Bobby Reeves, fostering bonds that will remain cherished.

Alvin's legacy is forever touched by the love of his late wife, Betty Reeves (Nee Mullins), and his son Earl Wayne, who both preceded him in death. Their remembrance is woven into the stories and experiences he shared with those who remain.

A man of remarkable skill, Alvin was a talented machinist at Bilvern Products and possessed an extraordinary ability to work with his hands. His passion for automobiles led him to help countless family and friends with their mechanical needs, showcasing an unparalleled talent for fixing just about anything. In addition to his mechanical prowess, his woodworking skills produced beautiful creations, each piece a testament to his patience and artistry.

Above all, Alvin’s cooking was a highlight of family gatherings. Each meal he prepared brought not only delicious tastes but also a backdrop for laughter and cherished moments, as loved ones gathered around to share stories and create memories.

While Alvin achieved many things throughout his life, the greatest accomplishment of all was the profound love he held for his family. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
