Barbara Katherine Burnside(Nee; Rapp) , born July 5, 1934, passed away October 31, 2015. Barbara was the loving wife of the late Dale Burnside, dear mother of Linda (Walter) Heine, Peggy (Ronald) Nickell, and the late Julie Burnside, beloved sister of Larry Rapp, Gilbert Rapp, Robert Rapp, Charles Rapp, Louis Rapp, Roberta Hertman, and the late Mary Louise Rapp, cherished grandmother of Kelly Christman, Katie Riner, Jamie Engelbrink, Jesse Heine, and Isaac Heine, and great grandmother of Derrick Couch, Kailee Couch, Taylor Couch, Kyle Rickard, Karlie Rickard, Aliva Riner, Haley Conklin, and Taylor Riner. Family of Barbara will be receiving guests for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, with a second visitation to follow at St. Susanna Catholic Church(616 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040) Thursday November 5, 2015 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow beginning at 10:00 AM.
