Carolyn Foltz

Carolyn Mae (Sturgeon) Foltz, 77, of Mason, Ohio passed peacefully into eternal rest on August 24, 2017, after a long struggle with Dementia.  Born August 8, 1940 in Warren County, Indiana to the late Lester and Frances Sturgeon she attended schools in Pine Village and Montmorenci, Indiana. On March 11, 1961 she married Kenneth Foltz and he survives. They had resided in Mason, OH for 52 years where they raised their children, son, Kenneth Martin Foltz, and daughter, Shelby Jean Witt (Douglas). Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kenneth Russell Foltz, Alex Lee Foltz (Brittany) of Waynesville, OH and Sarah Grace Caylor (Zach) of Dayton, OH and great grandchildren Adelyn Ellen Foltz and Jase Alexander Foltz.

Carolyn was a homemaker and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and numerous friends.  She had been a board member of Mason Assembly of Rainbow for Girls and traveled extensively with them while her daughter and granddaughter served as local and state leaders. For her service with the girls, she was awarded the Grand Cross of Color.
Services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Christ’s Church at Mason, 5165 Western Row, Mason, OH. Visitation will be at 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM followed by services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
