Celestine E. Rape, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A long-time resident of Mason, OH, Celeste is remembered by many in the community. She leaves behind her children, Jeff Raines and Pam Kapraly, grandchildren, Shannon Raines, Michael Kapraly and Jessica Minor, and her brother, Paul Stowe. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Rape, youngest son, Jon Rape and her brother, Nicholas Stowe. Celeste lived a long, full life, giving generously to all she knew. Family and friends were the center of her life, and she was always there for them. Those of us left behind continue to be inspired by her charm, character and compassion. Celeste lived a wonderful life and was a shining example for others. She is already missed.
