David Buchanan

David "Herk" J. Buchanan, born February 12, 1947, in Lebanon, Ohio, passed away on April 23, 2016. David was the dear son of the late Raymond Buchanan and Frances Louise Brayton, loving husband of Cheryl Buchanan, cherished father of Carmen (Tom) Sora, Camilla Forman, and Kristi Buchanan, beloved brother of George Buchanan, Margorie Parsons, Pete Buchanan and the late Harriet Seward, John Buchanan, Charles Buchanan, Lillian Parker, and James Buchanan, and loving grandfather of T.J. Sora, Trevor Sora, Arianna, Colin, Chicky, Henry Jr., Eli, Sofiya, Malikai, Mecca, and Judah. David enjoyed basketball, softball, and his family. The family of David will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 12 Noon - 2:00 PM with a service to follow beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Andrew's Art Auction.
