Dr. Edward Maag

Maag, Dr. Edward - Beloved husband of Christine Maag (nee Wedge), loving father of Julie (Doug) Schoen, Lisa Maag, Molly (Steve) Yoder, Amy Maag, Megan (Javan) Kline, Eddie (Tasha) Maag, Cindy (Dr. Paul) Bowen, and the late Mark Maag, Todd Maag, and Greg Maag, cherished grandfather of 16 grandchildren, and great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren, son of the late Edward and Mary Maag, brother of Joan (the late Dale) Bowyer, and Ronald (Janet) Maag.  Dr. Maag was an Army Captain, and in charge of the dental section Forest Glen Annex at Walter Reed Army Hospital.  The family of Dr. Maag will be receiving friends for a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (8815 East Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45249) on Friday, March 23, 2018, beginning at 10:00 AM.  A luncheon will immediately take place following the Mass.  A graveside funeral service will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with full military honors will take place following the luncheon.  Dr. Maag made a generous donation to the Ohio State University Dental College to enhance the education of the future generation of Dentists.  Donations may be made directed to the Dr. Edward Maag Screening Clinic at The Ohio State College of Dentistry.
