Elvena Ayres

Elvena Ayres (Nee; Johnson), born August 22, 1933, passed away September 20, 2015. Elvena was the dear mother of Karen (Leon) Ayres Young of Lebanon, and Paul (Karen) Ayres of Lebanon, cherished grandmother of Bob (Nicole) Lawrence, Derek Ayres, Elisha Ayres, and beloved great grandmother to Graham Lawrence, Jasper Lawrence, and Jocelyn Lawrence. Elvena was a devoted nurse at Christ Hospital for 35 years in the Labor Delivery department before she retired. She loved to read, sew, reality t.v, the Cincinnati Reds, and sparky her dog. Family of Elvena will be receiving guests for a visitation on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM.
