George R. French, Age 88, of Mason-Ohio, Passed away August 7, 2015. Husband of Gay Davis French and the late Lois Keller French, Father of 3 Children - Linda French of Landen Ohio, Carolyn French (John) Wymer, Darrell Lee French of Landen Ohio, 3 Step Children- Kim Parker of Middlesboro, KY, Bruce Davis of Springboro, Ohio, Rick Davis of Lockland, Ohio; 9 Grandchildren- Randy French, Carin French, John Wymer, Zoe Davis, Jacob Joyce, Caanan Davis, Kyla Parker, Karl McCarty, Christen Hatfield; 7 Great Grandchildren- Hailey French, Jonathan Wymer, Ashley Wymer, T.J Wymer, Holle McCarty, Chloe McCarty, Jayce McCarty, and Madilyn Joyce. George is survived by Sister Agatha Todd of Somerset, KY and Brother Van French of Somerset KY, is Preceded in death by Parents – W.J, Gertrude French, Sisters- Ella Hargis, Stella Price, Gussie E. Clark, Laura K. Whitis- And Brothers Juddy French, Elmer French, L.V Henry, Bill French, June French, Dale French,and Marion French. George loved upholstery, gardening, yard work, and puzzles. Family of George will be receiving guests for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason, Wednesday, August 12, 2015, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow Thursday morning beginning at 11:00 AM at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors.
