Gerry Greenup

Gerry Greenup, a beloved resident of Liberty Township, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

A devoted father, Gerry cherished every moment spent with his son, Hayden, and daughter-in-law, Lindsey Cress. He shared a special bond with his brothers, Gene (Jennifer) and Steve (Julie) Greenup, creating memories that will forever resonate in their hearts. He will also be missed by his many cousins near and far who knew how much they were loved by Gerry. 

Though Gerry is preceded in death by his dear daughter, Morgan, and his parents, Cecil and Virginia Greenup, his spirit lives on through the love and laughter he fostered in his family.

Music was a passion for Gerry, who not only enjoyed listening but also found joy in playing his guitar and crafting songs that told his unique story. For him, music was a vibrant avenue to connect with friends and loved ones, filling their gatherings with joy and camaraderie.

Gerry embraced life with vigor, taking pride in his children and the beautiful family he built. They were his greatest legacy, bringing immense joy and fulfillment into his life.

As we remember Gerry, it is the melodies he created and the unforgettable memories he leaves behind that will stay with us. His laughter, kindness, and profound impact on those around him will be cherished forever.
