Gertrude "Trudie" E. Pringle, born May 4, 1930, passed away February 3, 2024 at age 93. Loving wife of the late Lawrence Allan Pringle, cherished mother of Larry (Patti) Pringle, Alan (Betsy Keegan) Pringle, and the late Elaine Ann Greene (Jerry Greene), grandmother of Tara Greene, Tracie Greene, and great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren, dear sister of Don Easter and dear sister-in-law of Carol Easter, and aunt of many loved nieces and nephews. After graduating from Norwood High School in 1948, Trudie received a certification in Cosmetology and worked in the downtown Cincinnati Shillito Beauty Salon for a few years. It wasn't until the late 1960's that she received a certification in Library Sciences and became a school librarian from 1967 until 1980. When the Mason Public Library opened the new building in 1980 she joined as the Assistant Director. Trudie was also a 60+ year member of the Mason Heritage Presbyterian Church. She will be deeply missed by many.
The family of Trudie will be receiving friends for a visitation at The Christian Village at Mason - 411 Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040 on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A second visitation will take place the following day, Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Heritage Presbyterian Church - 6546 Mason Montgomery Rd., Mason, OH 45040 on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM. A procession to Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason will take place immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the Mason Public Library or the Mason Christian Village.
