WWII VETERAN
Dumford, Harold- Loving husband of Helen (Nee Hunter) Dumford. Beloved father of Peggy (Mike) Stover, Danny J. Dumford, Sandy(Rich) Hayward and the late Harold R. "Dick" (Sally) Dumford and the late Joyce A. (Jeff) Race. Dear grandfather of Larry E. Carrier, Bryan G. Dumford, Christopher Dumford, Lisa Holcomb, Amanda Rice and Brandon Rice. Great grandfather of Jacob, Emma, Nate, Matthew, Nicholas, Valerie, Kyree, Konlee, Phoenix, Alyssa, Devon, Chandler and Meg. Harold was born in Mason, Ohio January, 28, 1923. He enjoyed woodworking, bowling and fishing. He was 1 strike away from a 300 game. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, He was loved and respected by every person in town. His family will receive friends at Shorten & Ryan Funeral Home 400 Reading Rd., Mason, Ohio on Sunday March 8, 2015 from 4:00 PM. until 6:00 PM. Funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday March 9,2015 at 12:00 noon. Burial with full military honors will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Cincinnati.
