Henry “Hank” Ray Bergfeld of Hillsboro, Ohio, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2026.
Hank was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Marilyn, sharing many cherished years together. He was a loving father to Veronica (Kevin) Finley, Ron (Theresa) Adams, Mike (Nikki) Adams, John Adams, and Jamison “James” Doyal. Family meant the world to Hank, as did his close bond with his siblings Linda Miller, Debbie “Bird” Vance, Star Tolles, and Gary Bergfeld.
A true fan at heart, Hank loved cheering on his hometown Cincinnati Reds. Whether watching games in person or gathered with family around the television, his joy was infectious. He also found simple pleasure in playing solitaire on his computer or phone—his patience and determination often leading him to victory, time after time.
Nature held a special place in Hank’s heart. He cherished spending time outdoors, patiently fishing and creating treasured memories with loved ones. These moments were filled not only with quiet reflection but also with laughter and connection.
Hank’s presence touched so many lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and countless fond memories. The greatest gift he shared was the love he received from those closest to him—his heart forever intertwined with each family member, especially his dear wife Marilyn, whom he deeply loved and cherished.
He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
