Together, they cultivated a warm and loving family, filled with cherished memories. He was a proud father to David (Sue), Daniel "Dan" (Hope), Timothy "Tim" (Illenia), and Robert “Rob” (Penny), and a doting grandfather to Seth, Genoa, Brad, Daniel “Danny,” Brittney, Cyrena “C.C.,” Beau, Maggie, Chandler, Mckenna, Mckenzie, Amira, and Amir. His heart swelled with joy as he welcomed five great-grandchildren into his life, each a testament to the love he so generously shared.

A man of creativity and innovation, James made significant contributions in the field of design, leaving behind a legacy marked by numerous patents and ideas that will endure through time. His work was not merely a profession but a reflection of his imaginative spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence.

James's early years were spent in a quaint town near Detroit, Michigan, where his love for adventure blossomed. He often rode his bike, exploring the scenic beauty of the Michigan lakes, which became a lifelong passion. Sailing was among his greatest joys, and he relished trips back to those cherished waters with Elaine, creating countless memories along the way.
