James "Butch" Warren Thumann, born April 25,1944, passed away July 27, 2016. Survived by beloved children Joei (Steve) Penn and Jill (Ken) Martin, cherished grandchildren Aidan Penn and Isabella Martin, and dear siblings Jenny (Dan) Dempsey, Joe (Patti) Thumann, and John (Karen) Thumann. Preceded in death by loving wife Amanda Thumann (Née Fugate). James was a religious man who loved his family, grandchildren, being a sports fan, and tending to his garden. The family of James will be receiving guests for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home (400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio, 45040) on Monday, August 1, 2016, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, with a funeral mass to follow on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 944 US- 22, Morrow, Ohio, 45152 at 11:00 Am.
