Joanne L. Tunney

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Joanne L. Tunney of Dayton, Ohio, who left us on May 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Joanne was a devoted mother to Connie (Robert) Taylor and Susan (Jeffrey) Price, who will carry her spirit forward in their lives. As a grandmother, she brought joy and warmth to the lives of Chelsea Wilson, Courtney (Matt) Mihalik, Carisa (Jake) Clarke, Sydney (Martin) Molony Jr., and Caylyn (Zach) Duff. Her legacy of love extends even further as she embraced the role of great-grandmother to Makaela Shelton, Tobias Wilson, Blaze Clarke, Tyrin Wilson, Conrad Duff,  Jett Clarke, Marleia Molony, and  Jaggard Clarke. Each child was a shining light in her life, and she cherished the moments spent with them.

Joanne's greatest blessings were always her family. As the matriarch, she wove a tapestry of love and care that connected everyone around her. The beautiful memories she created will remain forever etched in the hearts of her loved ones, a testament to the profound impact she had on their lives.

Beyond her immediate family, Joanne opened her heart to countless children throughout her life, nurturing and supporting those in her community as if they were her own. She truly embodied the spirit of motherhood in every sense, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.

Though Joanne may have departed from this world, the love and warmth she shared will continue to resonate through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the memories and stories of those who loved her dearly.
