John Stephens

John B. Stephens, born May 20, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas, entered into rest on June 1, 2016, in Blue Ash, Ohio. John was the loving husband of Linda Lawson (McCabe) Stephens, devoted father of Chris Stephens, Kim (Shane) Borke, and Tee McCabe, cherished grandfather of Tyler Borke, Brycen Borke, Jaxon Borke, and the late Hunter Borke, and dear brother of David (Sandy) Stephens. John enjoyed playing bridge, golf, boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. The family of John will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home - Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio, 45040) on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 6:00PM - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Center Pointe Christian Church (5962 Hamilton Mason Rd, Liberty Township, OH 45011) beginning at 11:00 AM. A celebration of John's life will take place at Beckett Ridge Country Club Wednesday, June 8, 2016, beginning at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's honor to Hospice of Cincinnati.
