Joseph "Joe" Weitzel

Joseph "Joe" B.  Weitzel of Mason, OH.  Born on July 12, 1952 to the late parents Albert (Hudson) and Josephine Weitzel.  Passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018 at the age of 66.  Beloved husband of Martine (nee Hoskins) Weitzel.  Loving father of Angel (Chris) Wood and Delana (Tony Penny) Weitzel.  Proud poppy of Kristina Weitzel, Noah Wood, Jonah Wood, Heaven Wood, and Laina Weitzel-Penny.  Survived by many brothers and sisters "never cousins" along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.  Joe was a graduate of the 1970 Mason High School class.  Joe worked at Heritage Club as a groundskeeper.  Joe enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie, hunting, woodworking, quilting and doing yard work. The family of Joe will be receiving friends for visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home Mason (400 Reading Road Mason, OH 45040) on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 12 noon- 2 P.M. with a funeral service to follow beginning at 2 P.M.
