Julia Marie Fisher

Julia "Julie" Fisher died near her home in West Chester, Ohio on November 9th, 2016. She was adored by her beloved husband, Jim, who predeceased her, and she looked forward to being with him once more in the presence of God and all who came before.

She leaves behind her brother Robert Tonkins , Sister-in-Heart, Carol Tonkins , nephew Eric Tonkins , niece Anita Parker, and great nieces and nephew Christina, Kinley, and Elijah. She will be held in the hearts and memories of not only her family, but a beautiful and diverse group of friends who shared this life with her.

She will be remembered as "Auntie Mame" by her niece and nephew, as baby sister by her brother, and as a strong woman of faith by all who knew her. Julia was a trusted confidant and protector of people and nature. She loved gardening and golf, but she was a self-described yoga aficionado.
Following organ donation, Julia's body will be lovingly transported to Kentucky for burial next to her soulmate, Jim. It was her wish that she be returned to her earth with simplicity and grace. No formal funeral or remembrances will be scheduled. She asked that friends and family celebrate her life as
they wish , when they wish, and with as much joy as they can muster.

Per her wishes, she will receive a benediction graveside with a spray of pink roses. While she understood the desire people have to send flowers, she respectfully asked that her family and friends redirect their energies and gifts to the Salvation Army, Reach Out Lakota, or St. Johns Church in West Chester.
