With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Justin Ross Farrar, who left us unexpectedly on January 20, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. Justin was a cherished son to Floyd and Kay Farrar, and Terri Messer Farrar (deceased). He leaves behind his siblings: Angela (Robert) Farrar Lewis, Erin (Brian Soloman) Stelzer, and Jared (Taryn) Stelzer. He was father to two beloved children, Tessa and Greyson Farrar.
Justin shared a special bond with Nicole Burns, the mother of his wonderful son Greyson. He leaves behind his beloved grandparents: Floyd Sr. and Sidney Farrar, Charlotte Gillespie, and Thurman Messer, and also a special Aunt Tanya. Justin's warm spirit and kind heart will be missed by many cousins.
Throughout his life, Justin was known for his remarkable talent as a welder, using his hands to create and build. He had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, finding peace in the soothing sound of ocean waves and the breathtaking beauty of sunsets on the beach.
A man of simplicity, Justin found immense value in life’s little moments. He cherished the thoughtful gifts from his loved ones, including a ceramic tree from his mother, Kay, which he held dear well beyond the holidays. This tree served as a beautiful reminder of his family's love and support, and he made it a point to remind them just how much they meant to him through heartfelt messages.
Above all, Justin considered being a father his greatest achievement. The love he shared with Greyson and Tessa was profound. His vibrant personality, humor, and the stories he told will be missed dearly, but the legacy of love he created will endure, living on through his children.
Justin Ross Farrar may no longer walk among us, but the impact he had on those who knew him will remain everlasting. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
