Linda Lee (Helmsderfer) Zaidel, 58, passed peacefully Tuesday January 18th, 2022. She was the beloved mother of Tyler (Casey) Zaidel, Rebecca (Gage) Shaeffer, and Zachary Zaidel. Sister to John Helmsderfer and beloved grandmother to Mack Zaidel. Proceeded in death by her parents, John Robert and Anne Louise Helmsderfer.
Linda was born on April 13, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Wyoming High School and took pride in being a Cowboy. She went on to attend Miami University (Oxford) and joined the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority; ultimately getting a degree from the University of Cincinnati. After college, Linda stayed in the Cincinnati area where she met and later married Donald Zaidel Jr. They had three children together (Tyler, Rebecca, and Zachary). Through the years Linda could be found attending ALL of her children’s sporting events, walking the beaches of her favorite destination spot Naples FL, country concerts, attending Bengals, Reds, and Bearcat games, and loving on her many animals. Linda also loved her Disney movies and would visit Disney World as often as possible. If you only knew Linda for five minutes, there was one thing that was extremely clear.
The love and admiration she had for her children was unmatched. She had intense pride and always worked their accomplishments into any conversation. We will always remember Linda’s energetic personality, infectious smile, and an attitude that would definitely keep you on your toes. The world lost a wonderful woman. The family of Linda will be receiving friends for a visitation at St. Susanna (616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM.
