Lois Ann Ross

Lois Ann (Field) Ross born December 16, 1931, to the late, George H. and M. Kathryn Field in West Chester, OH, passed away on January 6, 2024. In August 1952, after months of just writing letters to a sailor stationed in Key West, she met that sailor who would be the love of her life, and in January 1953 became the loving wife to William (Bill) Ross Jr.  Loving mother to William (Denise) Ross III, Diane (Tom) Spaeth, Jeffrey (Dawn) Ross, and Bradley (Kelly) Ross. Beloved grandmother to Bryan Ross, Dan (Tia) Ross, Rachel (Adam) Wyman, Karl Spaeth, Andrew (Stephanie) Ross, Scott (Christina) Ross and Leah Ross. Beloved great grandmother to 8. Dear sister to Gary H. (Lorie) Field of Cumming, GA,. Special cousin to Jane Wilson and June (John) Armstrong. Lois was a dedicated registered nurse, first at Christ Hospital from where she graduated, then for 17 years as one of the first school nurses for Lakota Local Schools. She was a valued deacon and over 58-year member of Heritage Presbyterian Church.  The family of Lois will be receiving friends for a visitation at Heritage Presbyterian Church (6546 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040) on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 11:00 AM.  A procession to Rose Hill Cemetery will take place immediately following the service.
