Lynne Hunt Reynolds

October 15, 1939 - April 1, 2020

Lynne was born in Indianapolis on October 15, 1939.  Her full name was Helen Lynne Hunt but she always went by Lynne Hunt.  She passed away on April 1, 2020.  She graduated from Miami University in 1961 and began teaching Home Economics at Princeton High School where she met her future husband Sam, who was the band director.  They were married in 1964 in Indianapolis.

Lynne and Sam had three children, Rick (Sissy), Jim and Rob (Kelly).  They lived in Greenhills, Ohio for 25 years.  Lynne stayed at home for several years to take care of the boys.  In addition to Sam and her three sons, Lynne is survived by six grandchildren, Allison, Melissa, Leighann, Alex, Jon and Eric; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Anniston, and a third on the way; and a brother Jack (Marilyn) from Missouri.

After her children graduated from Greenhills High School, she and Sam moved to Mason, Ohio.   She returned to teaching at Greenhills/Forest Park and Princeton High School.  Lynne was a very positive and friendly person.  She was active in the Northminster Presbyterian Church and remained involved with her college sorority, Pi Beta Phi.

In 1999, Lynne suffered a brain injury that resulted from cardiac arrest.  She was able to stay at home for the next 14 years but then moved into Arden Courts Assisted Living Center in 2013.

With our country being concerned about the Coronavirus, there will not be a regular funeral service but instead, a family only service on Tuesday, April 7.  A celebration of life for Lynne will be planned for later this year.
