Marjorie S. Zwayer, 94, passed away from complications of congestive heart failure on January 11, 2015. She was born June 3, 1920, in Defiance County, OH.

A resident of West Chester, OH, since 1959, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Bard Eugene Zwayer, in 1988. She is survived by seven daughters: Judy Hotz (Don), Joyce Kohan (Ted), Jeanie Zwayer (Chuck Jenkins), Bette Zwayer, Mary Axle (Jim), Sally Zwayer-Jones (Steve), and Kelli Zwayer; also seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a founding member of Faith Community United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women.

Marjorie died peacefully in her sleep. As per her wishes a memorial service celebrating her life and walk with God will be held March 21st at 1:00 pm at Faith Community United Methodist Church, 8230 Cox Road, West Chester.

Marjorie's defining characteristic was her love and ability to share it with all who crossed her path. She was well known for her outstanding pies and constantly full cookie jar. There was always one more place at her table. She enjoyed being with her family and joined many of them for trips to Italy, Germany, the Canadian northwest, Alaska and many other scenic spots in the USA. She traveled to the Holy Land with friends and spent many years camping across the United States with her husband and children. Her pastimes included doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, crocheting and sewing.

Her faith, wit, and wisdom will be sorely missed by her family members and her many friends.
In lieu of flowers friends may wish to donate to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
