Marlene Gallo

Marlene Gallo (Hiney), 54, from West Chester, Ohio, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 4th. Marlene was born on December 7, 1961, in Akron, Ohio. She is survived by sons Cameron and Christopher Gallo, their father Patrick Gallo, mother Margaret Hiney, (Gary Miller), Brother David Hiney (Peggy), step brother Dirk Hiney (Kathy), many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her long time friend and companion Jeffery Moore. She was pre deceased by her father, John Mihal Jr., stepfather, Kenneth Hiney Jr., and Sister Johnna Hiney-Roles (Daniel). Marlene was a graduate of Revere High School in Bath, Ohio; received her Bachelor's degree from The University of Cincinnati, and her Master's degree from Xavier University She was an intervention specialist/Teacher at Dater Public High School in Cincinnati. Marlene loved attending her sons many sporting events, had a strong faith in God, and was a dependable loyal friend. Through the organ donation program, she was able to save the life of many others. Marlene was greatly loved and admired by all who were privileged to know her. Funeral Service will be held at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Rd., Mason, Ohio 45040 on May 10th, 2016 with a visitation from 9:30AM - 10:30 AM with a funeral mass to begin at 10:30 AM. Following the funeral mass, burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio.
