Mary Elizabeth Chadwell (nee Gilbert) born September 13, 1942, passed away October 14, 2017. Mary is survived by her loving husband Glenn Chadwell, beloved daughters Sherry (Richard) Eling, and Michelle (Jim) Beatty, cherished grandchildren Kaitlynn Eling, Jessika Beatty, Jamie Beatty, and her loving dog Snowflake. Mary is preceded in death by parents Fred and Elva Lee Gilbert and dear brother Claude Gilbert. Mary loved to garden, spend time with her granddaughters, and was a great gospel singer. The family of Mary will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 19, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM. A graveside service will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kentucky at 3:30 PM. Donations may be made in honor of Mary to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
