Mary Protheroe

Mary Ruth Protheroe (nee; Gorsuch), Loving Wife of the late Theodore Harry Protheroe, Dear Mother of Pamela Sturtz and Heidi Williams, Cherished Grandmother to her 7 Grandchildren, and Beloved Great Grandmother to her 10 Great-Grandchildren, passed away June 30, 2015. Mary was a longtime resident of Scottdale, Pennsylvania before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. Mary was a previous member of the First United Methodist Church in Scottdale, and a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cincinnati Ohio, was actively involved in the Kenwood Woman's Club, and was devoted to her Church Work. Mary was also an extensive traveler, enjoyed sewing, cooking, swimming, and spending time with her family. Mary's family will be receiving guests for a celebration of her life, Monday, July 6, 2015 at Mason Christian Village, beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mason Christian Village "Christian Benevolent Association" , or to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
