Mary Ann Plunkett

Mary Ann Plunkett, born August 14, 1936 to the late Edmond and Stephanie Brooks, passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 24, 2022. Cherished aunt of Stephanie (Thom) Meyer, dear great-aunt of Madeline (Spencer Oberschlake) Meyer, Jacob Meyer, and Joshua Meyer, beloved sister of Jean (Herb) Witte, Angela (John) Dornbach, and David (Laura) Brooks, and dear aunt and friend to many extended family members and cherished ones.

Mary Ann was a fireball who loved her friends and family fiercely. She graduated from Seton High School and worked for Gradison McDonald Investments for over 35 years. She loved to attend charity events hosted by St. Rita’s school for the Deaf in honor of her parents, her mother being a part of the very first graduating class. She enjoyed playing golf, and would spend a lot of time hanging out in the pro shop at The Grizzly in Mason. Her favorite pastime was spending winters with her husband in Sanibel Island. The family of Mary Ann will be receiving friends for a Memorial Mass at St. Susanna Catholic Church (616 Reading Rd., Mason, OH 45040) on Friday, October 14, 2022 beginning at 2:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor and memory of Mary Ann to Saint Rita's School for the Deaf.
