Maura Nixon

Maura Nixon peacefully passed away on May 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to her children, Haley Nixon, Richard (Madison) Nixon, and Stephen Nixon, whose lives she touched deeply with her dedication and love. Maura was also a beloved sister to Breen (Cam) Morton and Brian (Patty) Wood.

Maura’s life was marked by the love she shared with family and friends, and she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Nixon, her parents, Ralph and Mary Wood, as well as her siblings, Stephen Wood and Barry Wood.

A true fan of The Cincinnati Reds, Maura found joy in watching the games, often surrounded by family and friends, creating bonds over shared moments of excitement. Her love for the great outdoors reflected her vibrant spirit and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.Maura’s vibrant presence and strong heart will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration
