Oliver Hopkins Ide III

Oliver Hopkins Ide III, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025. Born October 21st, 1953 in Niles, Ohio to mother Phyllis (May) Ide and father Oliver Hopkins Ide, II. He was raised in Union City, Pennsylvania where he graduated high school in 1971. A proud alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh.

He is proceeded in death by his partner Elizabeth Bruemmer. He leaves behinds his daughter Katherine Ide and brother David Leland Ide.

Oliver dedicated over 40 years of his career as a purchasing manager at HydroTech where he was regarded as an leading expert in hydraulics.

Known as an avid golfer and die-hard Cleveland Browns fan.

Oliver will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
