Joy Murvay, of Lebanon, Ohio, born February 10, 1947, passed away February 27, 2017. Survived by beloved husband Bill Murvay, cherished children Michelle (Kevin) Faus, Mindy (Curtis) Jefferson, Kevin (Laura) Murvay, and Karen (Stephen) Hayes-Franz, dear grandchildren Katelyn Hayes, Kelsey Hayes, Jessica Murvay, Andrew Murvay, Celeste Blandon, Jon William Cole, and Isaac Jefferson, great-grandchildren Jase Haynes and Tylee Lanpher, and beloved siblings Gordon Bayles Jr., John Bayles, Helen Bennett, and Carol Husk. Preceded in death by parents Gordon and Mary Bayles, and siblings Thelma Airson, Bruce Bayles, and Jay Bayles. Family of Joy will be receiving friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040), Saturday, March 4, 2017, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM with a memorial service to follow beginning at 4:00 PM. Flowers or donations may be made in memory of Joy to Queen City Hospice.
