Raleigh Moore Jr

Raleigh was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on December 26, 2015. Raleigh died at home in Monroe, Ohio. He was born October 4, 1935 in Danville, Kentucky to Raleigh A. Moore Sr. and Mabel Middleton Moore. The family moved to Western Cincinnati in 1937. Raleigh is survived by his wife of 32 years, Wilma Moore, four children; Kimberly (Tim) Haunert, Michael (Diana) Moore, Melanie Evans, Dennis Moore and step-daughter Elizabeth McIntire, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother Thomas (Millie) Moore and many close and loving family members. Raleigh was preceeded in death by his parents, his brother Robert (Norma) Moore and infant brother Harry. Family of Raleigh will be receiving friends at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-West Chester (8791 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, OH 45069) Saturday, January 2, 2016 for a visitation from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow beginning at 2. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Fellowship Chapel, 4031 Columbia Road, Lebanon, OH 45036 in Raleigh's name, or any other charity of your choice.
