Rita Steel

Rita Steel, born November 24, 1923, passed away September 1, 2016.  Survived by loving children Sharon (Bruce) Halliman, John (Nancy) Steel, Dr. Robert (Beverly) Steel-PHD, Thomas (Elizabeth) Steel, and Juliana (Joseph) Spitzig, dear siblings Paul Hack, Reverand Thomas Hack, Mary Jane Hack, and Joseph Hack, 19 cherished grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by beloved husband Alexander J. Steel, parents Herbert and Catherine Hack,dear son Scott Herbert Steel and beloved sister Clare Rolf.  Rita worked as an executive secretary for 25 years.  She was also a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan and most of all a devoted grandmother who loved all of her grandchildren.  The family of Rita will be receiving friends for a visitation at St. Susanna Catholic Church (616 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with a funeral mass to follow beginning at 11:00 AM.
