Ruth Hackman

Ruth A. Hackman (Nee Wiest), born February 28, 1922, passed away December 7, 2016. Beloved mother of John Hackman, Robert (Terri) Hackman, Timothy Hackman, and Thomas Hackman, cherished grandmother, dear great-grandmother, and loved by many extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by loving husband John Hackman and parents Conrad and Rose Wiest. Ruth was the owner of the Mason Beer Depot. She never missed a Cincinnati Reds game, as she listened to them on her radio. She loved seeing the birds and squirrels enjoy her birdfeeders, and loved all of her family and friends dearly. The family of Ruth will be receiving family and dear friends for a visitation at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home-Mason (400 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040) on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow beginning at 1:00 PM. A procession will follow going to Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati - Blue Ash.
