Shawn Allen

Shawn Phillip Allen, age 51, passed from this life into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Shawn was born on April 3, 1974, to James W. and Mary Jane (Ball) Allen. He was the youngest of their three children, joining his sister, Lisa, and brother, James.
Shawn was a devoted father and grandfather. He would do anything for his family—or for anyone who needed help. He never knew a stranger and was an avid Cleveland fan.

Shawn loved his country and proudly served for nine years in the Ohio National Guard. He continued his service through various roles and volunteer work with his local American Legion.

Shawn leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Jim and Mary Jane; his children, Sydney, Savannah, Casey, and Sophia; his grandchildren, AruLea, Jaiden, Skylar, and August; his siblings, Lisa (Rob) and Jim (Anita); and countless other family members and friends—including his beloved cats, Thor and Loki.
