It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terry E. Nauman, a beloved member of the Mason community, who peacefully departed on July 30, 2024. Terry was a true pillar in our midst, demonstrating unwavering dedication to his country by serving in the United States Army during the challenging times of the Vietnam War.
Fondly remembered for his affection towards animals, particularly his love for dogs,'s compassionate nature extended to embrace his feline companions over time, reflecting the warmth and kindness that defined his character.
Terry's passions encompassed both the classic and the outdoors; from his admiration for vintage cars to the joy he found in creating lasting memories around campfires with cherished family and friends. His exceptional skillfulness was evident in his work within the concrete industry as well as his contributions at Napa, where he forged numerous connections and left a lasting impact on all those he encountered.
Preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Eleanor Nauman, mother-in-law Marilyn Cummins, and father-in-law Pete Cummins,and brother-in-law Jack Koller. Terry leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion carried on by his loving wife of 30 years, Carrie Nauman, their children Brandi Jean Adams (John), Anthony H. Nauman (Nikki), Jarred D Nauman (Pamela), Elissa S. Matthews (John), Corinne M. Gregory (Dan), and his cherished 10 grandchildren, his two sisters Joan Nauman (James) Speer, and Darlene Koller, Terry will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well.
Terry's absence will be deeply felt by many whose lives he touched, forever etching memories of him in our hearts. A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to countless individuals, let us hold dear the stories shared and treasure the moments that define Terry's remarkable presence among us.
In honoring Terry E. Nauman's life and legacy, may we find solace in keeping alive the spirit of love and connection he so generously bestowed upon us.
