Thelma Hunt, of Milford, Ohio, (and formerly Sun City, Arizona) departed from this world on February 2, 2026, leaving behind a rich legacy of love and cherished memories.
She was a devoted sister and deeply loved by her siblings: Florence Jones, Kathleen Hurley, Russie Moore, and Larry Ferrell. Thelma's affection extended warmly to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Thelma is reunited with those who have preceded her in death, including her beloved husband of 29 years, James Lester Hunt; her parents, Larkin and Martha Ferrell; as well as her sisters, Alma Daughtery, Dorothy Howlett, Barbara Hurley; and her brother, Walter Ferrell.
A spirit of joyfulness characterized Thelma’s life; she often found delight in traveling out West to visit family and playing the casino, where her luck frequently favored her. Beyond her playful pursuits, Thelma made a lasting impact through her work at Klosterman Baking Company where she was a shift supervisor for over 30 years. Her radiant smile and welcoming home brought family to visit regularly where they always enjoyed her hospitality and sense of humor.
Thelma's presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and an penchant for fun that will forever remind her family and friends of the beautiful person she was. In the hearts of those she touched, her memory shall endure, forever bright, like the lasting smile she imparted to the world.
