Thomas McAninch, a cherished longtime resident of Mason, Ohio, peacefully passed away on April 1, 2026. In his later years, he relocated to South Carolina, embracing the warmer climate and the treasured moments spent with family.
Thomas honorably served in the United States Army, demonstrating his commitment and dedication to his country. A man of profound humility, he devoted his life to caring for those he loved most—his family, whom he regarded as his greatest achievements.
He was a devoted father to his daughter, Stacey (John) Fussner, and a proud grandfather to his beloved grandson, Christopher Fussner. Thomas also shared a close bond with his brother, Wallace McAninch. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Imogene Faye.
Thomas’s enduring legacy is one of kindness, love, and unwavering devotion. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson, whose lives he enriched beyond measure.
