Vernon C. Gardner, born October 4, 1924, passed away October 13, 2017. Beloved father of Jane (Jamie) Axelrod, Nicholas (Phyllis) Gardner, and Tim Gardner, cherished grandfather of Adam, Eric, Nicholas, Joey, Dustin, and Jentry, dear great-grandfather to many great-grandchildren, brother of Cell Beckman, and loving husband of the late Mary J. Gardner. Vernon loved to hunt, fish, and be with his family. The family of Vernon will be receiving friends for a graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio on Friday, October 20, 2017 beginning at 11:00 AM.
