Wanda Lee Tallon of Bethel, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. Wanda was a deeply loving mother to her children, Ed (Lisa) Saylor, Bill Saylor, Rachel (Keith) Bogan and Connie Wilhite, and a cherished grandmother known to her grandchildren as Mamaw Wanda to her seven grandchildren: Ariah Saylor, Dakota Saylor, Joel Colwell, Trent Colwell, Chloe Bogen, Alexis Saylor, and Brandi Wilhite and five great-grandchildren. She also held a special place in her heart for her siblings, Cherry Goodlander, Elva Jackson, Connie Wray, and Terri Roush.
Wanda’s creative spirit shone brightly through her love of sewing and quilting. With great care and affection, she crafted beautiful quilts that wrapped her family not only in warmth but also in the gentle reminder of her loving hugs and unending devotion.
Her kindness extended further, as Wanda learned sign language, opening a door to connect with others and ensuring that no one she met ever felt like a stranger. This gift allowed her compassionate voice and thoughts to reach many hearts.
Wanda’s fondness for her cats brought her comfort and joy. She treasured their playful antics and found peace in the soothing sound of their purring as she lovingly cared for them.
Above all, Wanda’s greatest treasure was her family. She loved each member with all her heart and leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, treasured memories, and the enduring reminder of how deeply she loved each and every one of them. Her warmth and devotion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.
