William "Bill" Lee Aliff

William “Bill” Lee Aliff, passed away peacefully with his daughter at his side on February  22, 2026,  at Cedarview Rehab and Nursing Care Center.

 Bill was a multifaceted man with many talents and interests. He was a commercial artist who painted, wrote poetry ,and practiced photography . Many of his work received professional recognition and awards.

An avid outdoorsman, he hiked all over the Great Smokey Mountains National park. He built his own kayak and navigated many rivers throughout Tennessee in this vessel. 

A gentle soul, he will be missed by many. His family would like to express the deepest gratitude to the staff at Cedarview who cared for him and loved him like he was their family. For this we are eternally grateful .
