Wilmath Sowders

Wilmath "Norene" Sowders, Born July 5, 1949 in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away September 25, 2015. Norene was the cherished sister of the late Wayne Dick, and half sister of Debbie Bray and Jimmy Arthur, loving mother of Ed Dwayne (Karen) Tilley, Jody (Randy) Gilman, Pam (Donnie) Lawrence, and Scott (Shaunda) Sowders, the dear grandmother of Jerami Tilley, Nicholas Tilley, Grace Tilley, Chelsea Gilman, Jenna Gilman, Tori Gilman, Mia Gilman, Jeffery Miller, Donnie Lawrence III, Christopher Lawrence, Christina Lawrence, and Cameron Sowders, and beloved great grandmother of Blake Tilley, Brynlee Tilley, Hailie Melton, and Serinity Miller. Norene enjoyed Ricky Van Shelton music, attending Blue Grass Festivals, boating, Nascar, the 49ers, going to lunch with her friends, and spending time with her loving grandchildren and her dog Rascal. Family of Norene will be receiving guests for a visitation Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home -Mason, with a service to follow beginning at 7:00 PM. A graveside service for Norene will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Rest Haven Cemetery beginning at 11:00 AM.
