Beatrice "Bea" Poynter

Beatrice (nee Bishop) Umbarger Poynter died peacefully surrounded by family August 21, 2021 while her favorite song "I can only Imagine" played on the radio.

Beatrice had strength no one could imagine after losing all four of her children and was widowed four times. Her faith in God carried her millions of miles with a humble heart. She was the proudest Mamaw you could ever find. Everyone was always welcome in her home and she never met a stranger. She taught her kids and grandchildren "Family is all you got". Beatrice was a loving sister and Aunt.

Beatrice was preceeded in death by her four Husbands, Warren J Umbarger, John Colwell, Arvil Fugate, and Hollice Poynter. Her four children Steven Umbarger, Wendell Umbarger, Cheryl Poynter, and Craig Umbarger. Beatrice also lost one Great grand baby Lucas Randall Maloney.

Survived by eight Grandchildren - Angela Bolin, Tonya (Justin) Prewitt, Keichele (Brian) Napier, Amanda Poynter. Tara (Chris) Fuller, Abram Umbarger. Ashley (Nick) Maloney, Annie (Tyler) Poynter

Survived by nine Great Grandchildren - Keyaura (Justin) DeWitt, Ethan McGinnis, Daniel (Regan) Hopkins, Madelyn Poynter, Jacob Hopkins, Breonya and Peyton Napier, Abigail Fuller, and Noah Maloney. And a son in law Randall Poynter.

The family of Bea will be receiving friends for a visitation at Mason Church of God (204 Williams St, Mason, OH 45040) on Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12 Noon, with a funeral service to follow beginning at 12 Noon.
