Lloyd Cockerham

Lloyd E. Cockerham of Liberty Township, Ohio.

Born in Petersburg, IN., July 5, 1934 to John D. and Helen (nee Wilson) Cockerham, both deceased.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Clifford, and Forrest (Cotton).

Survivors: Wife, Lois, of Liberty Township, who he married on New year's Day 1956 in Princeton, IN.

A son, Mark (the late Joan), of Middletown, Ohio, and two daughters, Gale Kibler (Larry) of Kingston, TN., and the late Jane Myers (Rick) of Sharonville, OH.

Two grandchildren Matthew Linton, of Kingston, TN., and Katrina Holthaus, of Middletown, OH.

Six great-grandchildren Natile Hartman of Middletown; Gregory Hartman, of Hamilton, OH; Bryce Holthaus of Middletown and Kaitlin Linton, of Tennessee; Brady Linton, Grayson Wilson along with many nieces and nephews and cousins.

He was a graduate of Purdue University, Lafayette, IN., and Petersburg High School, Petersburg, IN.  Lloyd served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict.  He retired from AK Steel Company, of Middletown, Ohio where he was a senior research engineer.  He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast, particularly of Lakota School District teams.  Donations in honor of Lloyd may be made to the Liberty Township Fire Association. The services of Lloyd are at private at the convenience of the family.
