Michael Ryan

Michael Ryan

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After attending The University of Cincinnati, I attended and graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where I now serve on the board. I moved and settled down in Mason, Ohio in 1985 with my loving wife Melinda. I enjoy life, and take pleasure in reading, cycling, hiking, antiques, winemaking, and my Rhodesian Ridge-back dog, Doc. I take great pride in being able to serve the Mason Community and hope to do so for many more years.

Andria Schrock

Andria Schrock

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Born and raised in Delta, Ohio, Andria graduated from Pike Delta York High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Indiana Tech. While completing her undergraduate degree, a tragic event affected Andria and those around her. However, through such tragedy, Andria found her passion and began her venture toward a career in the funeral industry. Andria attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Sciences and graduated with a second bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science.  Following graduation, she completed her apprenticeship here at Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home and immediately fell in love with the community that it serves. Andria is the full time Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She serves on the Greater Cincinnati Funeral Directors Association Board and cherishes spending time with her family, friends and playing golf. 

Lynn Welch

Lynn Welch

Family Service Director

Lynn was born and raised in Cincinnati, the youngest of four children and graduated from Walnut Hills High School and then the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor’s of Education.

 

She married Austin Welch in 1983 and they raised their four children in Delhi as members of Our Lady of Victory parish for over 30 years.


Lynn has worked in the funeral profession since 2007, serving the families of Northern Kentucky for 15 years. She has provided professional and

compassionate care throughout the process, helping hundreds of families pre-plan their funeral arrangements. She believes that every life lived has a story and that story should be told.


On a personal level, Lynn enjoys an active lifestyle
golfing, cycling, concerts and entertaining. She has always enjoyed Notre Dame Football as

both her brother and son played for the Irish. The best title of all is “Gigi”, as Lynn’s favorite hobby is spending time with all of her grandchildren,

most recently twin girls.
